Passive Income Update – Jul 2019

Welcome to our monthly passive income update for July 2019. This is part of the scorecard series where we track our dividends and other sources of passive income. We also include changes and updates related to our investments during the month – showing the overall progress.

Passive Income  Update

Passive income for the month of July 2019 was CAD$900.31, which comprised of US$122.40 and CAD$738.74 (exchange rate is US$1 = CAD$1.32).

The change for the month is 3.76% QoQ and 41.75% YoY. This brings our passive income to $5,239.54 YTD and achieves 65.5% of our annual goal of $8K in passive income.

  1. I am not familiar with any of your canadian companies. Your dividend income amount was great though. It is growing nicely. Do you hold a position in bitcoin or just in the alt coins that you sold ?

  2. Strong income for the month. Always like seeing the Canadian banks paying out. I always say that. I still think TD, BNS, RY and others are underrated financial institutions from a dividend income perspective. Keep up the good work.

  3. So you are 65% of the way to your income goal but how about towards your 25 book target?

    I’m an early retiree and think reading books is the key to life but man…25 books in a year. Sheesh you might as well be a professional reader 😛
