Passive Income Update
Passive income for the month of March 2018 was CAD$826.78, which comprised of US$239.37 and CAD$517.99 (exchange rate is US$1 = CAD$1.29).
The change for the month is -45.44% QoQ (due to annual payout in Dec 2017) and +22.39% YoY for the month. This brings our passive income to $2,454.61 YTD and achieves 22.3% of our annual goal of earning $11K.

Dividend Increases
March saw two dividend increase announcements in our portfolio.
- Pan American Silver (PAAS.TO) raised its dividend by 40%
- Toronto Dominion Bank (TD.TO) raised its dividend by 11.67%

I heard that cryptocurrency mining isn’t anywhere near as profitable as it used to be with crypto prices down. I wonder if you’ve noticed this?
Yeah so far, its not really doing much for me. I think by the time the contract expires, I will be breaking even on the initial investment — but long term, the currencies should appreciate. Still lots to learn in the space and Im trying to figure out what is the best way to do this.
