  2. Awesome video, I’m forwarding that to a lot of former co-workers…

    Here’s the only thing I ever did with retirement funds… low-cost Vanguard index funds… If my current employer didn’t offer that, I would stick with whatever best option they had available until I left the company, at which point I would roll the funds over back into Vanguard. Perhaps there are better options out there, but I never found anything else out there that I liked more than Vanguard index funds for retirement.

    But I’m also coming from the angle of someone who believed strongly in jumping around every few years, otherwise that option isn’t available… Switching companies every few years is I guess the other key component to getting to financial independence… I have never found anyone who got paid industry rate without first shopping themselves around to the competition…
