  1. Down slightly QoQ but still a solid month that is hard to complain about. Thanks for the update and a look at your “long” history since 2013. Great to see the growth!

    • Thanks Tawcan.
We are getting decent sleep and its not as bad as we were expecting…except the first 2-3 nights — which were pretty brutal.

Hope you are coping well with the new addition and now being back to work.

      Best wishes

  2. Another awesome month for the hardest working blogger I know. It looks lie you’re pacing below your annual goal, but it’s too early to tell. I suspect May and June will be big payout months for you. Keep on pushing!

    • Thanks IH 🙂 The first and second month of the quarter are fairly even but the last month should make up for the difference. Hoping to keep pushing and reach that annual goal.

Hope you had a great April too

  3. Thanks for sharing Sabeel. Happy for your progress. Keep it up great work you do. We all appreciate it.
I’m happy for you with the new addition and wish you continued wealth and health. Dont’ stop the hustle my friend.

  4. A very healthy sum of passive income for the month of April. Nice to see quite a few dividend raises too for this period. I still hold my CCP, for now, but I can understand why you closed that position. Keep buying and DRIPing. Always nice to read these inspirational posts.

    • Hi DivHut,
CCP might be ok to hold for now, but I just wanted to simplify our portfolio and didnt want overlaps between my investments – since I own OHI already.

April has been a decent month…hope it was for you too.

  5. Hey R2R, congrats on all the passive income. It must make life a little easier for you, knowing this money is coming in no matter what..when you aren’t getting as much sleep as you’d like 🙂

    • Hi Tristan,
It sure is. My money works for me 24/7 🙂 Thats the beauty of passive income…I dont need to baby sit and let my investments do the work for me.

      Thanks for stopping by

  6. Roadmap,

Great job – you did so well and it’s amazing the track you are on! I like the names you earned from, as well as the new increases you received – quite a few nice names there. Congratulations and keep it up!

  7. $640 is truly amazing. All that free money that will help us get to the destination. I am still far away to reach $1M but I am glad I am doing this with you!

    Keep it up!

  8. That still looks solid even though you had a slight decline QoQ. Your other passive income is providing a nice boost on your $9k journey. Our April dividends were pretty much steady compared to January but my own other income it’s continuing to be pretty solid. I think we’ve got a pretty good shot to hit $10k in non-work related income for the year which would be fantastic. Although I need to get on a better schedule with my writing.

Congrats again on the baby girl and hopefully she’s not keeping you up too much!

    • Thanks for stopping by and the wishes, JC. Yeah..Im not too worried about the QoQ drop…my income is variable a bit so, a little variation is expected. Thats amazing that you are on track to reach $10K in non-work income. I would love to reach a number like that in the coming years. I am probably halfway there right now.

Thanks again. She is doing great and isnt keeping up much. Wakes up once or twice through the night and goes right back to bed after eating. Definitely finding it easier than what I expected.

  9. Boom! Over $600 in dividends is awesome…the compounding must feel pretty good where your at. 🙂

Also, gotta love the 5 raises you got this past month. How many people can say they got 5 raises in one month from their day job. 🙂

Keep it up my friend. Best wishes and continued success! AFFJ

  10. Wow, so close to the $1000 mark. I think you should be more generous with exchange rate and do 1:1 🙂 Canadian dollars will soon recover as oil recover.

  11. Thanks for the update.

I especially enjoy seeing what dividend stocks people own. As a long time capital appreciation investor, I am working my portfolio toward dividend growth stocks. Sites like this really help me with the learning process.

  12. Hi Sabeel,

    Congratulations for your achievements.

I notice you sold Chevron Corp (CVX) and I was wondering the reason.

Anything to do with oil price?

    • Its not so bad on a YoY basis, is it? I am not too familiar with OKE – but energy companies are facing the new reality and some have to be cut loose from our portfolios.
