  1. Hey R2R,

Qualcomm is a great (British?) company which is one of those behind-the-scenes companies that we all use but don’t know it. It’s a great one to hold, a very nice increase too. A forward 4% yield is a great one for a profitable tech company that’s been increasing for 14 years (imagine the Yield on Cost if you’d bought 10 years ago).

    • Thanks Tristan.
Qualcomm is American — its based in San Diego, CA. A great company who’s chipsets or licensing technology is found in almost every smartphone out there. I am also looking forward to increased cash flows as the connected car market develops and Qualcomm tech is used for the communication.

  2. I noticed the QCOM dividend growth announcement, but, curiously, there’s no information about ex-dividend date or payment date in the announcement. Usually, dividend growth announcements include that information. Probably the reason I missed QCOM in my regular series of “Dividend Increases”.

  3. I like QCOM’s metrics and it was my recent buy also. Its only very few of tech companies that I own. Dotcom bust left a deep impression on psyche of so many folks. QCOM story is great: its patents are licensed, yield is good and potential of growth is there due to exploding mobile segment. Keep racing!
