Love the map. Wow, looks like AT&T and Ford are partnering up. Last week I was listening on the radio how gm and ford wants to amp up the techno inside the car to improve driver experience. I own both, so like how they don’t want to be left behind with less P&D
Yes, the car companies have been extremely slow in integrating tech into their products. Now, with upstarts like TSLA, they have realized that its something they cannot ignore anymore. Ford has done better over the last few years than GM, and the partnership with GOOGL will be great for them. Initial reports/reactions from within Ford are good regarding their new partnership.
My investment thesis still stands – I dont care who fights and wins this battle. My holdings will win business no matter who comes out on top 🙂 Car OEM manufacturer Magna International (major parts of the car manufactured by them via contracts) and Qualcomm (for communication chipsets & licensing technology).
