    • Thanks for the support, Tyler. Really appreciate the kind words from fellow findependence seekers like you. Each year, we keep building on top of what we have and keep plugging away. We will eventually get to reach our goals!

    • Thanks Tawcan. My ‘Other’ stream is a bit more unpredictable, but overall – they seem to have leveled well into the $600 range for the year – which is fantastic. I didnt expect to reach that high this fast. Early 2013, when I started blogging, I was looking at just over $100 per month! Upwards and onwards it is 🙂

      Best wishes

  1. Great job continuing to build that passive income, R2R! Soon you won’t need a job anymore.

Are those Seeking Alpha articles a one-time payment when they are published (making them technically active income) or do you get a cut of any advertising revenue that your articles generate? I’m just curious.

    • Thanks for the wishes, ARB.
I get a one-time flat fee for publishing SA, but I also have a recurring revenue depending on pageviews – so its a bit like collecting royalties from book publishing. Work required upfront and you might get a big cheque from the publisher to begin with and later – royalties keep flowing based on how well the book does.

Hope you had a great Oct as well.

  2. Exceeded your goal 3 months earlier is awesome. Congrats, bro!

I’ve learnt so much from you over the year, I’m glad to have found your blog.

Please keep sharing and keeping us motivated.

    • Thanks for the wishes, Vivianne. Im glad to have found your blog as well – really like your multi-pronged approach to investing and its something that Ive been thinking about a lot and want to move towards instead of focusing only on stock investing.

Hope you had a great Oct as well.

  3. Congrats, R2R on nice dividend and passive income! $600+ is fantastic and its almost 1 week of salary for all of folks, that you do not need to lift a finger and it still comes into your account. 14% YOY growth is nothing to sneeze at as well. Keep racing!

  4. Great job once again R2R! Over $600 in non-work income is fantastic and y’all have trounced your goal for the year as well. Two more months to go and I’d say there’s a good chance y’all cross into $7k, maybe $7.5k, for total passive income with 2 more months to go. Keep up the good work!

    • Thanks JC. I hope to cruise through and get to somewhere in the ballpark of 7-7.5K this year. That is amazing considering that last year I thought 5.5K was high enough.

Thanks for stopping by and the wishes
