  1. Thanks for sharing the chatter R2R. Glad to see we both added shares of VTR to our portfolio. I know the stock price has dropped further in the last few days but I’m happy with my recent buy. I have an limit order to pick up a few more if it dips into the low 20s. 🙂

Cheers to future dividends from VTR. Hope you have a great Halloween night! AFFJ

    • I wont be too worried with the stock dropping by a couple of percentage points, AFFJ. Over the long term – in a matter of years, it will barely matter whether I bought at $55 or $54. Im guessing you have a typo there to pick up shares in low 50s and not 20s.

  2. Thanks for putting this list together. I always forget about companies like TJX, so I appreciate you putting this reading list together and pointing me in the direction of a nice stock analysis. Also, can’t believe I missed your post about SBX’s dividend increase…25%. Amazing. Too bad I don’t like their coffee 🙂

    Have a great weekend!

    • You are welcome, Bert. Happy to compile and share this list. SBUX has had quite a run up in stock price and the yield is back to where the starting yield was when I first bought in. Hoping for some pullback to add more.

  3. Sometimes I feel like I missed out on SBUX but with so much potential growth still in front of them I think I could add them to my portfolio one day. Those dividend increases are certainly very tempting from SBUX. Just can’t get past that valuation, even for a growing company.

    • Likewise, DivHut. I shouldve picked up last year when I was looking at it….got in a pretty high price and it has still continued to fly. Hoping to pick up a lot more during the next recession.

  4. I enjoy your comprehensive list every week. I’m considering adding OHI at some point, might be after the first interest rate introduction. It might be too cautious for some, but it will be worth the wait.
