Omega Healthcare Dividend Increase

Omega Healthcare Investors Inc (OHI) announced that its quarterly dividend will be raised by 1.85% from $0.54 to $0.55 per share. This dividend increase is the company’s twelfth consecutive quarterly increase. The dividend will be paid on Aug 17, 2015 to shareholders on record as of Jul 31, 2015. The new dividend rate results in an annualized yield of 6.23%.


My portfolio consists of 102 shares of Omega Healthcare, which increases my annual OHI dividends from $220.32 to $224.40, an increase of $4.08.

  1. Just love reading these updates. I had also seen this one yesterday and it makes me rethink wanting to own rental properties. This yield is just so nice and we do no physical work to earn our pay. Again, I did not know you owned this many OHI shares! I have 70 myself and they’ve been quite nice to me. My total REIT exposure is still quite high, but with these sorts of yields, I suppose I shouldn’t worry. Thanks for the update.

    • Starting to share my sharecount is a bit towards being slightly transparent with my portfolio…I still resist divulging my whole portfolio and net worth details, hopefully if I am completely comfortable, I will get around to do it.
      Real estate is a great business and REITs are a fantastic way to invest – def a lot more easier than owning and running the property ourselves.
