  1. R2R,

Your graph on Greece’s debt really caught my attention. That’s one ugly spike of debt due in the coming months. I’m really glad that the Eurozone governments finally came to an agreement with Greece to extend the current debt programme as the financial markets over here were preparing for the worst again.

Thank you once again for putting together a great list of articles!

    Have a great weekend,

    • Yeah, I havent read too much into the details of what the deal is – but on teh surface it appears that they are just kicking the can down the street as its a 4-month extension. This doesnt really seem to solve anything, yet the markets are joyfully running higher. I saw another interesting chart a couple of days ago from the Economist, which showed the net change in population in Greece – where ppl are leaving and the difference in births and deaths is resulting in a decreasing population – the chart was aptly titled “Fewer and fewer Greeks to save”, which I thought was very interesting.

For now, all we can do is watch the show.
      Best wishes

  2. RM2R,

Great weekend reads – always nice being able to see what you think were the big bangers of the week and it definitely has helped me as a CPA through busy season target the higher quality articles as well. Thanks Roadmap, hope you had a great week and thanks for putting this article out, as always.
