  1. I think this is a totally normal increase for a telco like T. You can’t expect much more as it is already a very high yielding stock. Personally, I have no T or VZ in my portfolio. Not really interested in the sector similar to my feelings towards tech. Thanks for sharing.

    • Hi DivHut,
I remember that you werent a fan of tech/telecom stocks. Its hard to find tech stocks esp if you subscribe to the DGI model…lots of the companies havent even been around that long to pay dividends and maintain a record. Thanks for stopping by and the input

  2. Woohoo! More free money! Seriously though, what else are they going to do? I think about this sort of increase the same as a job’s yearly raise, if you’re fortunate to get one. It’s nice and welcome. Will it make me instantly rich? No, but it will help me on my way there. Thanks for the update.

  3. T is pretty consist, huh? While I wished for more, I the increase of $.01/share was right in line with my expectations. The most disappointing aspect of this announcement was that we were anticipating the company to announce their increase on Monday, not Friday!

Congrats on the increase, thanks for writing the article. Our benefit was about the same for this stock.

    • Haha…a few days dont really matter I suppose. I am still waiting for one more increase before the end of the year – ADM. I was hoping for an announcement last week, but its not here yet. Im ok with waiting a little bit and I know its coming. Enjoy the pay raise, Bert.
